The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) announced that the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET 2010) would be conducted on May 24, 2010. for admission to the Diploma Holders and BSc Mathematics ECET 2010 [FDH & BSc (Mathematics)] Exam Date: May 24, 2010

Applications are invited from Diploma Holders in various branches of Engineering namely,

  Civil.

  Electrical

  Mechanical (including Automobile, Packaging Technology, Printing Technology & Foot Ware Technology)

  Computer Engineering (including Special Diploma)

  Electronics and Communication (including Special Diploma / Special Diploma in TV and Sound Technology)

  Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering (including Special Diploma)

  Mining

  Chemical (including Sugar Technology / Ceramic Technology / Textile Technology / Leather Technology)

  Metallurgy

  Electronics and Instrumentation (including Special Diploma)

Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering (including Special Diploma) / Mining / Chemical (including Sugar Technology / Ceramic Technology / Textile Technology / Leather Technology) / Metallurgy / Electronics and Instrumentation (including Special Diploma) / Pharmacy and B.Sc., Graduates with Mathematics for the Common Entrance Test:

  For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in All India Council for Technical Education approved Un-Aided Private Professional Institutions,

  For Admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders,

  For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy Courses in both University and private un-Aided professional Institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India, For the academic year 2010-2011 to be conducted by the JNT University Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.24 Education (EC) Department, Dt. 18-03- 2004, and its amendments.

The prescribed application form along with instruction booklet containing information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabi etc., for the common entrance test can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 300/- from any Post Offices at Hyderabad GPO, Secunderabad, Khairathabad, Sanathnagar, Kachiguda, JNTU(PO), Hanumakonda, Waranagal, Nizamabad, Adilabad, Manchirial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahaboobnagar, Sangareddy, Nalgonda, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Bhimavaram, Tanuku, Eluru, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Machilipatnam, Buckinghampet, Vijayawada, Arundelpet(Guntur), Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupathi, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nandyal, and Anantapur Post Offices from 16.02.2010 to 31.03.2010 during counter working hours.

The filled in application form with necessary enclosures can be submitted to the CONVENER, ECET [ FDH & B.Sc.,(Maths) ] - 2010, Room No 1, First Floor, Academic Staff College Building, JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085 in person or by Notification Registered Post/Speed Post so as to reach him on or before 16.03.2010, with out late fee and on or before 23.03.2010, with late fee of Rs:500/- and on or before 31.03.2010, with late fee of Rs:1,000/- and upto 08.05.2010, with late fee of Rs:5,000/- by way of Demand Draft in favour of the "Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE) payable at hyderabad" and attached to the application.

Incomplete applications and applications received after due date and time will be summarily rejected. Candidates can also apply on-line, for further details visit website www.jntu.ac.in/ecet.

Guide Lines For Online Submission:

  For online submission a candidate has to purchase a DD for Rs. 300/- in favour of "Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE) payable at hyderabad" and submit the online application by clicking below link.

  After submission a Registration number for future reference is generated.Write this Registration number and your Name on back side of Demand Draft

  The candidate has to take printout of filled in application and paste a colour photo graph of size 3.5cmx4.5 cm at appropriate place in the application. After signing the application at the bottom of the photograph (not on the photograph) and also on the declaration, arrange it along with requisite enclosures as mentioned in CheckList and DD in A4 size cover(The details of D.D. should be mentioned on the top of the cover) and send it to the CONVENER, ECET [ FDH & B.Sc.,(Maths) ] - 2010, Room No 1, First Floor, Academic Staff College Building, JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085 by Regd. Post. (or) Speed Post, so as to reach on or before 16.03.2010 without late fee.

  Those who are submitting the application in online after 16.03.2010 must send a D.D. (Rs.300/- for application cost + late fee) in favour of the "Secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE) payable at hyderabad".

  The registration number should be used for any further correspondence till the hall ticket is issued.
