Students who have passed Eamcet can choose colleges and branches in the web-based
counselling.
They need to go to helpline centres set up in all the districts only for verification
of certificates and seats will be allotted online.
Please enter URL or Website address: http://apeamcet.nic.in
or as indicated in the notification.
The home page contains the information regarding Web Counselling, Candidates Registration
for web counseling and Candidates Login for exercising options.
Before selecting the Candidates Login for exercising the options,
you have to complete the Candidate Registration.
Through Candidates Registration process, generate the password required for exercising
options.
Click on Candidate Registration and enter the following details.
Application No.

Rank Date of Birth and click on Generate Password.
In the Enter Password box enter the password (having a minimum
of 6 characters length with at least one alphabet) and re-enter the same at
Re-enter password box. Click on Save to save the password
and click on Log Out to complete the registration and return to
home page.
Exercising Options:
Candidate Login is provided for exercising the options.
Enter the details ICR No., Hall Ticket No., Pass Word and Date ofBirth” and click
on Sign In .
Read the instructions carefully. Read the Declaration and click on Check Box
to confirm the same and then click on Option Entry Form or Help Screen.Click
on Help Screen will display the screen providing explanation about
different Menu items.
Read the explanation about various menu items, and then click the button Click
here to Enter Options, it displays the screen with various districts
along with check boxes the same will also be displayed if you click on Option
Entry form in the last screen
Select one or more districts or statewide institutions to display the Colleges in
those districts along with Statewide Institutions or Check all to display all the
Colleges in the state including statewide Institutions.
Click on Display Option Entry form displays the screen for exercising
the options.
In the screen three year courses (Engineering and Non- Engineering) are displayed
in Creamy Yellow Colour and three and half year courses in grey Colour.
By looking at already filled Specimen Option form, enter the option
numbers in the spaces on the Screen.
You are advised not to start entering options directly on the web without preparatory
work at home, as you may commit mistakes.
While filling the option form Click on Save Options at regular
intervals. After completion of Option entry Click on Logout,
it displays an alert message with three buttons Save and Logout,
Confirm Logout and Cancel Logout.
Click on Cancel Logout retains the Options Entry Form.
Click on Save & Logout button will save the options exercised up
to that point of time and display the details of the options exercised. Click on
Confirm Logout button will directly display the details of the
options exercised.
After verification of the options exercised by him, for modifying the options, the
candidate has to click on Login for Option Entry.
You are informed that, you can add, modify or delete the options any number of times
within in stipulated time. The options recorded in the server on the last day will
be frozen. If you wish change the frozen options once again approach any one of
help line centres on any one of the dates mentioned to modify your frozen options.
This is the final opportunity and after this no further change can be done. The

The eligibility criteria for admission into engineering (including technology),
Pharmacy professional courses shall be as mentioned below:
|
|
|
|
The candidates shall be of Indian National.
|
|
The candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the
academic year for which the admission are being conducted
|
|
The candidates should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent
on the date of His/her counseling for admission. The candidates also have secured
a rank at the common entrance Test and satisfy other conditions laid down in these
rules.
|
|
The candidates should satisfy Local/Non- Local status requirements as laid down
in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order,1974
as Subsequently amended for admission into category A seats in unaided professional
Institutions and for all seats in University Colleges .the candidates shall be of
Indian National.
|
|
|

|

|
|
Convenor seats means the seats earmarked from out the sanctioned intake of seats
in each course to be filled by the convenor of admission
University Colleges: 95% of the sanctioned intake of state in each course shall
be the convenor seats .They shall be allotted to eligible candidates as per the
rules laid down in GO.Ms.No.32 Higher education (EC) Department dated 11-06-2003
on the basis of rank obtained at EAMCET and by following the rules of reservation
laid down by the government from time to time .The remaining 5% of the sanctioned
intake of seats shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained at ECET.
Un-Aided Non- Minority Professional Institutions:
The category A seats shall be 75% of sanctioned intake of seats in each course in
Un – aided Non – Minority and Minority Professional Institutions, which shall be
filled with eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtained at EAMCET and by following
the rules of reservation laid down by the Government vide G.O.Ms.No.53 Higher Education
(EC) Department, dated: 10-05-2006.
Un-Aided Minority Professional Institutions:
Admissions will be conducted in terms of G.O.Ms.No.54 Higher Education (EC) Department
dated: 10-05-2006.

Un –Aided Non –Minority /Minority Professional Institutions:
The category B seats shall be 25% of the total intake of seats in each course in
respect of un- aided Non Minority and Minority professional institutions, which
shall be open for admission to all the eligible candidates including candidates
belonging to other States and union territories of India and NRI?s On merit basis,
following the previous of rule 6. (iii) Within category B, seats not exceeding 20%
of the total intakes of seats may be filled, at the discretion of the Institution,
with NRIs.

details.

Regional Institutions:
Admission to 85% of the Government seats in each course shall be reserved for the
respective local candidates and the remaining 15% of the Convenor seats shall be
un – reserved seats left open for local candidates, other local area candidates
and non – locals in the combined merit as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational
Institutions (Regulation and Admission) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
State Wide Institutions:
Admission into 85% of seats, in each course shall be reserved for the candidates
belonging to the three local areas in the State i.e. Andhra University Area (Andhra),Osmania
Area(Telangana) and Sri Venkateshwara University Area (Rayalaseema ) in the ratio
of 42:36:22 respectively and the balance of 15%seats shall be offered in combined
merit to all the local area candidates and non – locals.

Fee shall be remitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Convenor; EAMCET-2010
Admissions payable at Hyderabad or in cash at the bank counters available in all
venues .Fee shall be paid in full at the time of counseling and no part payment
will be accepted.

An amount of Rs. 3,000/- should be paid above the tuition fee for such of the courses
which are given accreditation by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation) in any
private un-aided engineering/Pharmacy colleges as long as such accreditation exists
for such courses in that colleges.
|
|
SC/ST/BC candidates are exempted from paying tuition fee if their parental income
from all sources is up to Rs. 1,00,000 per annum .However ,these candidates have
to produce Income Certificate issued by M.R.O (issued after 01-01-2009) ,if they
claim exemption of tuition fee.
|
|
NOTE: Request for cancellation of seat immediately after the allotment will not
be entertained .However, cancellations will be permitted only on valid reasons and
the Convenor’s decision is final in this matter
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Candidates appearing for counseling shall produce the following certificates
in ORIGINAL:
1. EAMCET -2010 Rank card & Hall ticket
2. Marks memorandum of intermediate or its equivalent.
3. Memo of SSC or its equivalent.
4. Study certificates from 6th class to intermediate.
5. Residence Certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e.
Intermediate or its equivalent in respect of Candidates who have private study without
any institutionalized education.
6. Integrated Community certificate issued by the competent authority and Father’s
caste Certificate in case of BC/SC/ST candidates.
7. Resident Certificate of father or Mother for a period of 10 years in A.P. excluding
the period of their employment outside A.P. from M.R.O. in case of non local candidates.
8. Latest Income Certificate issued by M.R.O. in case of SC/ST/BC candidates if
they claim exemption of tuition fee.
9. In case of Non-local candidates, Service Certificate of Father or Mother if they
are employed in Central Govt. /State Govt./Quasi Govt./Public Sector.
10. NCC/Sports/PH/CAP certificates in support of their claim for admission under
these categories.
In addition to the above certificates, candidates are advised to bring the following
certificates to facilitate verification of caste claims.ST/SC/BC Welfare Department
Officials will refer these certificates if required
1. Father’s caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BC candidates.
2. Attested copy of Service Register (S.R) of Father in case of SC/ST/BC candidates
if father is employed in Govt./Public Sector.
3. Transfer Certificate (TC) from the Institution where the candidate has last studied.
Candidates who have already taken admission and attending for sliding have to bring
the Provisional Allotment Order, Fee Receipt, Receipt of Certificates issued to
them and also other Certificates(mentioned above) applicable to them ,which they
have not submitted earlier

CAP –CHILDREN OF ARMED PERSONNEL
As per G.O.Ms.No192 higher education (EC-32) Dept.dated 26-08-1993 following
are the priorities to be followed for admission under CAP quota
Priority 1: Children of Armed Forces personnel,B.S.F personnel
and C.R.P.F personnel killed in action.
Priority 2:Children of Armed Forces personnel,B.S.F personnel and
C.R.P.F personnel disabled in action and invalidated out from services on medical
grounds.
Priority 3:Children of Armed Forces personnel,B.S.F personnel and
C.R.P.F personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards, the order of merit for
consideration of the Gallantry Awards being ,as given below:
1. Armed Forces Personnel
a.Param Vir Chakra,b.Ashok Chakra,c.Sarvotham Yudha Seva Medal,d.Mahavir
Chakra,e.Kirti Chakra,f.Utham Yudha Seva Medal,g.Vir Chakra,h.Shourya Chakra,i.Yudha
Seva Medal,j.Sena/Nau Sena/Vayu Sena Medal,k.Mention in despatches
b. BSF/CRPF Personnel
1. President’s Police and Fire Services Medal for Gallantry
2. President’s Police Medal for Gallantry
3. Police Medal for Gallantry
Priority 4:Children of other Ex-Service man,B.S.F. Personnel and
C.R.P.F.Personnel
Note:
1. Children who do not come under any of the priorities (1) to
(4) under this category shall not be eligible for consideration under this quota.
2. If there is more than one candidate in a particular group In
the order of priority indicated above, the selection shall be based on the rank
at ICET
3. This reservation shall be available only to the Ex-servicemen
,Armed Personnel etc.who resided for a minimum period of five years in Andhra Pradesh
within the ambit if G.O.P.No.646,Dated 10.07.1979(six point formula)and G.O.Ms.No.370,Dated
18.10.1994.
4. The children of ex- servicemen and servicemen residing in the
state of Andhra Pradesh seeking admission shall, in support of their claim, submit
a Residence Certificate signed by the Mandal Revenue Officer from where the candidate
claims the residence of his parent.
5. Candidates seeking admission under this category should submit
documentary evidence in support of their claim from competent Defence BSF/CRPF authority.

1. A Candidate shall be regarded as a local Candidate in relation
to a local area (AU/OU/SVU)
1.1 If he/she has studied in an Educational Institution or Educational
Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than four consecutive academic
years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared in
the relevant qualifying examination as the case may be.
1.2 Where, during the whole or any part of the four consecutive
academic years in which he/she appeared, or first appeared in the relevant qualifying
examination, he/she has not studied in any educational institutions, if he/she resided
in that local area for a period of not less than four years immediately preceding
the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which he/she
appeared, or first appeared, as the case may be.
2. A candidate who is not regarded as local candidate under
clause (1.1) above in relation to any local area shall
2.1 If he/she studied in the educational institutions in the state
for a period of not less than seven consecutive academic years ending with the academic
year in which he/she appeared or first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination
as the case may be, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to
i.Such local area where he/she studied for the maximum period out
of period of seven years.
OR
ii.Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas
is equal, such local area where he/she studied last in such equal periods.
2.2 If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive
academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she appeared or first appeared
for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in the educational
institutions, in any local area, but has resided in the state during the whole of
the said period of seven years, be regarded as a local candidate in relation to
i.Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period
out of the said period of seven years.
OR
ii.Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas
is equal such local area where he/she had resided last in such periods.
Note: Local area in respect of Andhra University (A.U. area) includes
Nagarjuna University area. In respect of Sri Venkateswara University (S.V.U. area),
it includes Sri Krishnadevaraya University area. In respect of Osmania University
(O.U. area), it includes Kakatiya University area.
3. Candidates coming under any of the categories given below and
not satisfying the conditions mentioned in 1 or 2 above are treated as ‘Non-Local’
to all the three University areas specified above.
a. Candidates who have resided in the state of A.P. for a total
period of 10 years or more excluding the period of study outside this state.
OR
b.Candidates either of whose parents has resided in this state
for a total period of 10 years or more excluding the periods of employment outside
the state
OR
c. Candidates either of whose parents is employed in the State
of A.P. in the State or Central Government Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies,
Universities and other similar quasi Government Institutions within this state,
at the time of submitting the application
OR
d.Candidates who are spouses of those employed in the State of
A.P. in the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies,
Universities and other similar quasi Government Institutions within this state,
at the time of submitting the application.

Note: Blank proforma III is provided for submitting relevant information
regarding Local/Non-Local status of candidates.

As per G.O.Ms.No 165 dated 06-09-2007and G.O.Ms.No 8 (Amendment to the GO.Ms. No
16) Higher Education Department, dated 27-01-2009, the candidates who have secured
qualifying marks in EAMCET and candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled
Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall
be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained
by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the
marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics/Biology, Physics,
Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the
same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide
the relative ranking by successively considering the following
i)The total marks secured in EAMCET
ii)The Marks secured in mathematics/biology in EAMCET
iii) The marks secured in Physics in EAMCET
iv) The Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying
examination
V) If the Tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned
candidates, the order being given preference over the younger
